Induction melting furnace – induction coreless melting furnaces mean to melt metal and get cast iron and steel casting of the highest quality, also for founding high-hardness and stainless alloys, ferroalloys. ARRANGEMENT OF THE INDUCTION FURNACE
Induction melting furnace in their design features comprises of main unit that means for melting and associated equipment. Melting unit represents a skeleton, which consists of two fabricated housings as well as hydraulic rams and central part of the induction block. Positioning group made from the sheet-rolling stainless steel.
The water-cooled induction heating coil manufactures from the copper pipe. Electric power and water supply on a coil carry out through the flexible leads. The necessary inclination (95 degrees) is provided by rams that impel by hydraulics. A supervisory control station in response to inclination is coincident with all furnace`s control panel and arranges at the operating area of the furnace.
The induction melting furnace operates on three-phase alternating current 3*380 V from the shopfloor power line or from an individual converter by usage thyristor frequency converter, which converts three-phase current of industrial frequency to one-phase current of high frequency. Control devices for monitoring operation of the converter placed on a front of the control panel. Frequency regulation while in operation carries out automatically. Control and signaling sensors of a furnace cooling system and capacitors are placed on a cooling-water control unit.
